I find his career from 85-87 to be most fascinating. I also think he was the most legitimate challenger to Hogan during his first run. Forget the big fat boring dudes who lined up to get legdropped, the Orndorff feud in 86-87 was borne out of pure jealousy and had a lot of great storylining and history behind it.
I hear that this feud drew really well also, it deserved to. I think the cage match at SNME was brilliant, the way Orndorff tied with Hogan in the first place. I love the fact that he did that, the title should have been held up and vacated until a rematch between the two, but I guess they needed to push Hulk/Andre quickly and Paul needed some time off to tend to his injuries.
What a pity that had Paul go face again and team with Hogan at Survivor Series, this really makes him look a fool after the blood feud he'd had with him.
Still, great stuff.
