Buddy Rose (w/ Bobby Heenan) pinned Steve Lombardi at 3:43 with the DDT; prior to the bout, ring announcer Howard Finkel introduced Rose at 256 pounds but Rose quickly corrected him and said he was 235 pounds; during the commentary for the match, Vince McMahon talked about an incident in Madison Square Garden a couple of days ago that we may have heard about involving Cyndi Lauper's award presentation, and that footage would be shown the following week
