WCW US Champion Sting & Ric Flair defeated Arn Anderson & Brian Pillman via disqualification at 17:56 when Flair attacked his partner; Flair, in street clothes, finally appeared at the 6-minute mark with his head bandaged after reportedly being attacked backstage before the show by Anderson & Pillman; when Sting finally tagged Flair in, Flair joined in triple teaming Sting and peeled off his bandage to reveal it was a set up; Flair, Anderson, and Pillman continued to attack Sting until officials covered Sting's body; moments later, Gene Okerlund interviewed the three in the aisle, during which Flair said the Horsemen were reunited; Sting was then helped backstage by the trainer
WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan defeated the Giant in a monster truck challenge; the contest was held on the roof of the adjacent Cobo Arena and rules stated the winner would be the truck to push the other outside a 100-foot diameter circle; Eric Bischoff, Heenan, and Bob Chandler, who designed the two trucks, provided commentary for the contest; after the contest, the Giant got out of his truck and cornered Hogan against the ledge of the roof; after a brief brawl, in which both men were on the ledge, the Giant lost his balance and fell off; Hogan immediately ran for help as the helicopter filming the contest focused on the Detroit River below; moments later, Bischoff left the broadcast table to find out more information, with Tony Schiavone then returning to call the remainder of the show
Randy Savage pinned Lex Luger with the flying elbowsmash at 5:23 after Luger collided with Jimmy Hart, who appeared on the apron mid-way through the match, and knocked Hart to the floor; after the bout, Heenan momentarily left the broadcast table out of frustration for not knowing more about the Giant's condition

Raw is War - hosted by Jim Ross, making his full-time return to Raw, & Jerry Lawler; included an opening backstage segment with Vince and Stephanie McMahon, surrounded by four police officers, with Stephanie happy to be with her father; featured Shane McMahon leading the Corporation to the ring, with Ken Shamrock demanding an explanation to why they didn't help his sister Ryan when she was abducted, with Shane then calling Stephanie & Vince to the ring and claiming Vince's priorities were to his daughter and not the Corporation, with Shane then firing Pat Patterson & Gerald Brisco from the group and slapping Vince in the face; moments later, as Shane berated Vince, Shamrock walked out on the Corporation, with Vince shown shaking his hand backstage after the commercial break before getting into a limo with Stephanie, Patterson, & Brisco; featured the Undertaker appearing on the Titantron and claiming an innocent victim would be sacrificed later since Vince left with Stephanie; included a Chef Boyardee promo featuring Mankind; featured an in-ring segment with WWF World Champion Steve Austin claiming he would retake the Smoking Skull title belt at Backlash from the Rock, with Rock appearing on the Titantron and challenging Austin to come fight him on an undisclosed bridge somewhere in Detroit; included Michael Cole interviewing Mankind in a boiler room, with Mankind stating Paul Wight would leave the Boiler Room Brawl on a stretcher at Backlash; moments later, Shane ordered Rodney & Pete Gas to find Mankind and take him out, with Mankind beating them down later in the show; featured a promo for WWF The Music Volume 3; included Shamrock locating his sister Ryan in the Boiler Room, with Ken and Mankind then being attacked by the Ministry of Darkness, with Taker stating Ken would be their next convert; featured Taker ordering the Ministry to tie Ken Shamrock to Taker's symbol on the entrance stage, with Edge, Christian, and Gangrel refusing and brawling with the Acolytes, Viscera, and Mideon, and Mankind eventually joining the fight as Shamrock freed himself; included Shamrock calling out Taker for a fight, with the lights going out and Taker appearing in the ring, with the two brawling until the Ministry of Darkness came to Taker's aid, with Triple H & the Big Bossman then pulling Shamrock out of the ring and attacking him as Shane looked on; featured a closing segment with Austin and Rock brawling on the bridge, with Rock knocking Austin off and into the river below and then throwing the Smoking Skull title belt into the river as well:
WWF Women's Champion Sable (w/ Nicole Bass) fought Jacqueline (w/ Terri Runnels), Ivory, and Tori to a no contest when Bass hit a chokeslam to both Jacqueline and Ivory and slammed Tori before the match could begin
Paul Wight pinned Christian at 1:22 with the chokeslam; prior to the bell, the Undertaker's voice ordered Gangrel and Edge, who escorted Christian to the ring, to leave ringside and let Christian prove himself
Val Venis fought Billy Gunn to a no contest at 3:42 when Owen Hart & Jeff Jarrett attacked Gunn at ringside; moments later, the Road Dogg, Venis, and Gunn fought off Hart & Jarrett, with Debra flirting with Venis until Jarrett pulled her away
Owen Hart & Jeff Jarrett (w/ Debra) defeated the Acolytes via disqualification at 1:28 when Edge, Christian, Gangrel, Viscera, and Mideon interfered and attacked Hart & Jarrett; moments later, the Undertaker & Paul Bearer came to the ring, with Taker grabbing Debra by the throat and claiming she would suffer until Ken Shamrock, wielding a baseball bat, chased the Ministry of Darkness from the ring; Taker then revealed Ken's sister Ryan was in the boiler room
The Godfather (sub. for Big Bossman) pinned WWF IC Champion Goldust at 3:56 to win the title with the Death Valley Driver; prior to the match, Godfather offered to give Bossman five ho's in exchange for his title shot, which Bossman accepted
WWF Hardcore Champion Hardcore Holly pinned D-Lo Brown (w/ Ivory) at 4:34 after Brown went through a table attempting the Lo Down after guest commentator Al Snow pulled Holly off the table
WWF Tag Team Champions X-Pac & Kane defeated Triple H (w/ Chyna) & Test at 6:26 when Kane pinned Test with the tombstone after Triple H threw his partner back in the ring and walked out on him

Pay-per-view bouts – featured Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler on commentary; included Triple H interrupting a backstage interview with the Rock, with the two men having to be separated by officials; featured Triple H interrupting a backstage interview with Steve Austin, with Austin chasing Triple H into the parking lot where he was hit by a car; moments later, Austin was attended to by paramedics while Vince McMahon, Jim Ross, Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, and Test looked on; during the segment, Vince accused Triple H, X-Pac, and Road Dogg, who said they had nothing to do with it; Austin was eventually taken away in an ambulance, with Vince going to the hospital as well:

Kane defeated X-Pac via disqualification at 4:15 when Triple H interfered and hit Kane in the face with the world title belt as Kane attempted the tombstone; after the bout, Tori came out to try to help Kane against the Road Dogg, Triple H, and X-Pac but sustained a spin kick from X-Pac, not realizing it was her; moments later, paramedics came out to check on Tori
The Big Show defeated WWF Hardcore Champion the Big Bossman, Albert, Mideon, & Viscera in a handicap elimination match at 1:24; Show pinned Mideon with the chokeslam at the 19-second mark; Show pinned Albert with the chokeslam at the 30-second mark; Show pinned Viscera with a bodyslam and the chokeslam at the 55-second mark; Bossman was counted-out after walking out of the match
