Carlito Caribbean Cool fought Ken Kennedy to a draw at around the 16-minute mark when both men shoulder's were counted down following a cradle by Kennedy after a superplex by Carlito; pre-match stipulations stated the winner would face WWE IC Champion Umaga at Summer Slam; after the bout, William Regal appeared and said both men would compete against Umaga in a triple threat match at the pay-per-view (the bout began during the commercial break)
WWE World Champion John Cena defeated Snitsky via disqualification in a non-title match at 4:52 when Randy Orton interfered as Cena attempted the FU and twice dropped Cena with the RKO before sliding out to the floor and grabbing the title belt as the show went off the air

Cody Rhodes, Paul London & Brian Kendrick defeated Daivari, Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas at 3:08 when Rhodes pinned Daivari with a crossbody off the top; after the commercial break, Daivari cut an in-ring promo until Cryme Tyme appeared, knocked Daivari down, stole his turban ("durka durka" as they called it) and sold it a fan for $5; WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch then appeared and challenged Cryme Tyme to an immediate fight; as Cryme Tyme went to get in the ring, they instead stole Cade's cowboy hat and ran into the audience; Shad then said he would usually sell it but instead gave it away and threw it to a fan in the crowd (Benjamin's debut with blonde hair)

WWE World Champion John Cena defeated Booker T (w/ Sharmell) via disqualification at 10:46 when Randy Orton interfered and - with Booker - double teamed Cena; during the bout, there were chants of both "Let's go, Cena" and "Let's go, Booker;" after the bout, Orton prepared to kick Cena in the head but then stopped himself in mid-motion and went after Cena's father instead, pulling him out of the crowd and punting him in the head; Cena and medics looked over Cena's father as the show came to a close

Jeff Hardy pinned WWE IC Champion Umaga to win the title at 9:56 after bumping the ropes and causing Umaga to fall off the top turnbuckle; Umaga kicked out just at the 3-count, lifting Hardy up and out of the ring; during the commercial break, Umaga threw around several items around ringside, angry over the loss
Beth Phoenix pinned Maria with a cradle suplex at 47-second mark; prior to the bout, Santino Marella appeared with Maria and cut an in-ring promo saying his arm was healing and when it was healed he would embarass Ron Simmons; after Santino insulted the crowd, the Sandman came out of the crowd and repeatedly hit Santino over the head with his kendo stick, scaring him backstage; after the bout, Beth grabbed the mic, cut a promo on WWE Women's Champion Candice Michelle, and then dropped Maria a second time with the cradle suplex - with Candice then running out to cover Maria
Paul London & Brian Kendrick defeated Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas at 5:13 when Kendrick pinned Haas with Sliced Bread #2; WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch provided guest commentary for the bout; due to pre-match stipulations, London & Kendrick earned a tag team title shot at Unforgiven; after the match, Cade & Murdoch got in the ring to congratulate the winners and shook their hands
Mickie James & Cody Rhodes defeated Jillian Hall & Daivari at 4:36 when Rhodes pinned Daivari with the DDT; prior to the bout, Jillian cut an in-ring promo in which she said, even though she had just had her wisdom teeth removed, she would perform for the crowd
Triple H defeated Carlito Caribbean Cool & Umaga via disqualification at 1:33 for illegal double teaming; after the bout, Carlito dropped Triple H with the Back Stabber and Umaga hit a splash from the middle turnbuckle; moments later, Umaga ran into a steel chair while attempting the back splash in the corner, with Triple H then clearing the ring of Carlito and giving Umaga multiple chair shots to the head, hitting him in the face with the sledgehammer, and then hitting the bloody Umaga in the back of the head to finish the assault

12/31/07 - featured an opening vignette in which WWE World Champion Randy Orton was announced the top Raw superstar of the year; included an in-ring promo by Orton in which he bragged about his accomplishments over the year and said he would be even more dominant in 2008 and would begin and end the year as champion; moments later, WWE IC Champion Jeff Hardy interrupted and said the one thing Orton didn't have was momentum; Orton then attempted the RKO only for Hardy to reverse it into the Twist of Fate; featured a video package highlighting Ric Flair's career and recent quest to avoid defeat or face retirement; included the announcement next week's Raw would include 'Raw Roulette' special stipulations; featured a backstage segment with Matt & Jeff Hardy in which Matt said he hoped to be back in the ring by the Royal Rumble and - if Jeff won the title - asked for a title shot (Matt's first appearance in 6 weeks); included Todd Grisham conducting a backstage interview with Triple H regarding his match later in the night against Flair; moments later, Vince McMahon and William Regal appeared with the two announcing to Triple H that if he lost his match with Flair then he would not be part of the Royal Rumble match; featured a backstage 'Happy New Year' message from Big Dick Johnson, Ron Simmons, and Jillian Hall in which Simmons stopped the two from dancing and singing, respectively, to say "Damn;" included a backstage segment with McMahon and Regal in which McMahon told Regal he would be facing Hornswoggle later in the night and that Finlay was overseas; featured highlights from the previous week's 'Tribute to the Troops' to the tune of Staind's 'So Far Away' and Graham Colton's 'Best Days;' included a backstage segment where Flair - wearing a DX t-shirt - received encouragement from WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes until McMahon appeared and told Flair he would be losing later in the night; featured an in-ring promo by John Bradshaw Layfield - accompanied by several fireworks - regarding his return to Raw; moments later, Chris Jericho interrupted, with the two brawling around ringside until Barry Windham, Tony Garea, Sgt. Slaughter, Mike Rotunda and referees pulled them apart; after the commercial break, JBL yelled at Garea and the other officials backstage for allowing his $500 shirt to be torn (JBL's return to the Raw brand after a 5-year absence); included an ad for 'Raw's Greatest Hits: The Music' and 'The Best of Raw 15th Anniversary' DVD; featured a backstage segment with Triple H and Flair as they discussed their match later in the night, with Triple H certain he would win and Flair telling Triple H he was his best friend and wanted the best out of him:
Ken Kennedy pinned Shawn Michaels at 14:32 with a modified Flatliner after avoiding the superkick; at one point during the match, Michaels used the Crippler Crossface
Royal Rumble Qualifying Match: Umaga pinned Jim Duggan with the thumb strike to the throat at 1:20; prior to the bout, footage was shown of Duggan winning the first Royal Rumble in 1988; late in the match, Duggan bled from the mouth following the back splash in the corner
WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix defeated Melina and Mickie James at 4:19 by pinning Melina with the cradle suplex after Mickie hit the DDT on Melina but was thrown to the floor by the champion
Hornswoggle fought William Regal (w/ Vince McMahon) to a no contest at around the 4-minute mark when - after McMahon repeatedly demanded Regal punch Hornswoggle with his pair of brass knuckles and Regal refused - Hornswoggle left the ring as McMahon berated Regal in the ring and sent him away
WWE IC Champion Jeff Hardy fought Santino Marella (w/ Maria & Carlito Caribbean Cool) to a no contest in a non-title match at around the 2-minute mark when WWE World Champion Randy Orton appeared on the big screen after attacking Matt Hardy backstage, then kicking Matt in the face before Jeff ran backstage to check on his brother
Ric Flair defeated Triple H via disqualification at 13:10 when - as Triple H attempted to cover Flair after hitting the Pedigree and further injuring his bad knees - William Regal appeared and punched Flair with his brass knuckles before leaving ringside; pre-match stipulations stated if Flair lost then he would be forced to retire and if Triple H lost he would not be involved in the 30-man Royal Rumble match; after the bout, Triple H helped Flair to his feet and the two men hugged as the broadcast ended
