Monday Night Raw
March 21, 1994
Poughkeepsie, NY
Mid-Hudson Civic Center

The current WWF champs were as follows:
World Champion: Bret Hart (3/20/1994)
Intercontinental Champion: Razor Ramon (9/27/1993)
World Tag Team Champions: The Quebecers (1/17/1994)

Your hosts are Vince McMahon and Randy Savage. Guess heís no longer banned from commentary. Vince announces that Bret Hart has regained the WWF title from Yokozuna. Owen is not even mentioned. He then asks Savage where he left Crush? Savage thinks heís still stuck in Madison Square Garden. Methinks otherwise.

WWF Tag Team Champions The Quebecers (w/Johnny Polo) vs. The Bushwhackers
This is non-title, because why on earth would the Bushwhackers be getting a tag titles shot, amirite? Standard ridiculous Bushwhackers spots to start. Once the match settles, the Bushwhackers remain in total control up to a commercial break. When we return, now the Quebecers are working over Luke. This match just drags on and on. Eventually, Luke gets some knees up to block as Pierre comes off the middle rope. HOT TAG TO BUTCH! BATTERING RAMS ALL AROUND! While the ref is busy getting Luke out of the ring, Johnny Polo jumps in and nails Butch. That causes Luke to chase after him and once the Bushwhackers get their hands on Polo, Pierre knees Butch from behind and knocks Polo off the apron onto the guardrail. Nevertheless, Pierre covers Butch for the 1-2-3. (9:22 shown) Boring as all heck. Not as bad as their Royal Rumble match, but still pretty lame. ĺ*

Afterwards, Capt. Lou Albano returns and gets Johnny Polo and the Quebecers to agree to a tag titles match against a team that he puts together, which turns out to be a team that was already put together. More on that later!

Montage of stills are shown highlighting WrestleMania 10. Luger getting screwed by special ref Mr. Perfect against Yokozuna, Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels having one of the greatest matches ever, and Bret Hart winning back the WWF title. No mention of Owen yet.

Elsewhere, Irwin R. Schyster gives us all some helpful tips for a successful 1994 tax season.

Tatanka vs. Chris Hammrick
Tatanka wears to the ring the HUGE ceremonial headdress he received from his chief last week. Vince mentions what a jerk IRS is for demanding Tatanka to pay a gift tax on that headdress. Poor Hammrick takes a NASTY spill through the ropes, but Tatanka tends to give no quarter and ask no quarter as he flips Hammrick from the apron back into the ring. Even with Hammrick basically out on his feet, Tatanka takes his time with him and eventually hits the PAPOOSE TO GO at 4:45.

From apparently the locker room in MSG, Todd Pettengill thinks WrestleMania 10 had some A-list celebrities and talks up how excited they were to be there. Not my idea of a huge celebrity, but Rhonda Shear flips out when she meets Burt Reynolds. The best part? Johnny Poloís reaction while standing behind her. BUY THE REPLAY NEXT MONDAY NIGHT AT 10PM EST!

Diesel vs. Ken Lucia
We JIP to an angry Diesel leveling Lucia with a jumping shoulderblock. Vince feels Shawn Michaels is somehow conspicuous by his absence after just being involved in that crazy ladder match the night before. Side Slam, Snake Eyes, Big Boot, and the JACKKNIFE wins it all at 2:36.

Vince introduces the NEW WWF champion Bret Hart out to the ring. After Vince recounts just how Bret regained the WWF title, Bret says heís leaving right where he left off as he will be taking all challengers just like he did before. Not to mention Yokozuna will be getting his rematch too. Then FINALLY Vince brings up Owen defeating Bret at the beginning of the PPV. Bret makes no excuses for the loss, but says it was just one match and now things are different since he has won back the gold. You donít always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need. And after quoting the Stones, this interview is OVER.

From last night, Burt Reynolds bugs out on camera about how the WWF has the best athletes in the world. He appears to be under the influence of something.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Koko B. Ware
Hey look, Nikolai Volkoff is back again wearing that same ugly suit. And wait a sec, KOKO B. WARE IS BACK AGAIN? Donít get too excited. This would be just a one shot deal at least on Monday Night Raw. After some feeling out stuff, Koko shoulderblocks Jarrett until he takes a powder. Back in, Koko misses a corner charge and the end is near for Koko. Wait a minute, Jarrett misses a flying fist drop and HERE COMES KOKO! Itís almost like a John Cena comeback with all these shoulderblocks. He slams Jarrett and delivers an elbow drop for two, which is basically just like the Protobomb and the Five Knuckle Shuffle without all the charisma. Next thing you know, Koko telegraphs a backdrop and Jarrett hits him with the DDT for the win. (5:03) After the match, Jarrett gets up in Savageís face, so he throws a drink at him. That essences Jarrett to the point that now heís challenging Savage to get into the ring. YOU DONíT WANT NONE. Savage takes off his hat and glasses and throws Jarrett out of the ring, then celebrates with Koko as if Koko was the REAL winner of the match. ĺ*

Next Week: Lex Luger v. Rick Martel! Plus, 1-2-3 Kid will be in action. So will Owen Hart! DONíT MISS IT!
