Chris Jericho & Lance Storm defeated Tom Prichard & Jimmy Del Ray (w/ Jim Cornette) at 15:37 when Jericho pinned Del Ray with a roll up after Storm hit a superkick behind the referee's back; Jericho wore a splint on his arm after he reportedly broke the arm in a motorcycle wreck; Prichard & Del Ray initially won at 14:48 when referee Mark Curtis stopped the match when he thought Jericho, who was bleeding profusely, couldn't continue; Jericho then pleaded with Curtis to keep the match going, which he agreed to do; after the contest, Cornette took the mic and demanded an explanation from the referee, with Curtis taking the mic and saying Jericho still had enough to win the match over Cornette's team
