Edge fought World Heavyweight Champion Kane to a draw at 12:50 when both men's shoulders were counted down after Edge hit the champion with the spear; prior to the bout, Edge appeared to go backstage to return with Paul Bearer, who he had kidnapped, but instead returned with an empty wheelchair; immediately after the match, Edge was announced as the new champion until the referee explained his decision; moments later, Kane knocked Edge to the floor, with Edge then knocking Kane into two ringposts and then ramming him through the barricade with the wheelchair
WWE Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel (w/ Husky Harris, David Otunga, & Michael McGillicutty) defeated Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov at 5:11 when Slater pinned Marella with the modified Zig Zag after Marella went after the other Nexus members on the ring apron; after the bout, the Nexus members ganged up on Marella until Michael Cole received an e-mail from the Raw GM which reminded Nexus they would be banned from ringside for the next match and they all would be suspended if any of them interfered
WWE World Champion Randy Orton pinned Wade Barrett in a No DQ, no count-out match at 15:16 with the RKO after guest referee John Cena shoved the challenger, moments after Barrett shoved Cena; Nexus was banned from ringside for the bout; late in the contest, there were dueling chants of "Cena sucks" and "Let's go, Cena;" stipulations stated Cena would be fired from WWE if Orton won but would be free of Nexus if Barrett won the title; after the contest, Cena and Orton fought off Nexus when they tried to rush the ring; moments later, Cena took the title belt, gave it to Orton, and hugged him; after Orton left ringside, Cena took off his wristbands and left them in the center of the ring before saluting the crowd, hugging Michael Cole and Rich Achberger at ringside, and going through the crowd meeting with fans as the show ended
