WWF Superstars
June 13, 1992

Superstars comes to us this week from Lexington, Kentucky. Our commentators are Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect who welcome everyone to the show. Vince discusses the hugely successful 2nd Annual WBF Championship that's airing on PPV 'tonight'. That PPV will be brought up several times on commentary by Vince over the course of the show. Who wouldn't want to pay to watch the Bodystars of the World Bodybuilding Federation? The WBF would disband about a month later.

Tatanka vs Barry Horowitz

The squashfest begins. We get a split screen Rick "The Model" Martel promo during the match. He brags about stealing Tatanka's sacred feather. Tatanka finishes off Horowitz a chop off the top rope and a Samoan drop.

Update with "Mean" Gene Okerlund is next. Gene tells us about the various ridiculous curses that Papa Shango has been putting on the Ultimate Warrior and even Okerlund himself. These curses are abdominal pains and green ooze seeping out of his head for the Warrior and some brown ooze coming from Gene's hand. We get an as usual nonsensical promo from Warrior about how angry he is.

"Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels (with Sensational Sherri) vs Graig Brown

We see a Shawn and Sherri split screen promo during the match talking about Bret "Hitman" Hart. Of course it's a squash. Shawn hits Brown with a really bad slow superkick. A back suplex ends it.

Next up is the Event Center with Sean Mooney about the upcoming July 20th show at the Worcester Centrum. We get comments from Ric Flair, Mr. Perfect, Shawn Michaels, and Sensational Sherri about Ric and Shawn's match with "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Bret "Hitman" Hart at the show.

A vignette showing the soon to debut Razor Ramon walking the streets of Miami is shown. He talks about how he will dominate the WWF when he arrives.

Natural Disasters vs The Executioners

It's almost a comedy match as the masked jobbers try a bunch of ineffective offense and the Disasters shrug it off and destroy them. One of the Executioners is finished with a sitdown splash from Earthquake and a big splash from Typhoon.

The second Event Center with Sean Mooney is next. In separate interviews Papa Shango and Berzerker and then Ultimate Warrior and Undertaker discuss their upcoming tag team match at the July 20th Worcester show.

The Mountie(with "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart) vs Bill Koby

There is a Sgt. Slaughter split screen promo about the Mountie during the match. Mountie ends the very short squash with a dropkick of all moves. Post match the Mountie terrorizes and threatens Koby with the shock stick but doesn't get to actually use it.

A WBF Championship PPV promo is shown. It's tonight! Don't miss the greatest event in drug-free bodybuilding history!

Mean Gene interviews WWF Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage in the upper deck of an empty arena. Savage talks about how he will indeed break the rules and do whatever he has to do to beat Ric Flair just like at WrestleMania VIII.

"The Ugandan Giant" Kamala (with Dr. Harvey Wippleman and Kimchee) vs Dale Wolfe

Kamala is in control the whole way in this squash. He hits a big splash and attempts to pin Wolfe while the jobber is on his stomach. Eventually he gets Wolfe the right way around and pins him.

"El Matador" Tito Santana vs Mike Samples

Tito gives a split screen promo about who he thinks will win the WBF Championship. WBF! WBF! This is our sixth short squash of the show and is ended with a flying forearm to the back of Samples' head.

Mr. Perfect telephones the Big Boss Man and asks him how it felt to get the worst beating in WWF history at the hands of Nailz. Boss Man says it was rough, but he is coming back. Perfect berates him and hangs up the phone.

Nailz vs Ron Cumberledge

Nailz brutalizes Cumberledge for a little while and then chokes him out. Post match Nailz uses the nightstick to choke Cumberledge into oblivion as the crowd chants for the Big Boss Man.

Next is our last Event Center of the show with Sean Mooney about the July 20th Worcester Centrum show. This time around we hear from the Repo Man and the British Bulldog about their one on one match at the event.

Vince and Mr. Perfect tell us Crush, Undertaker, Money Inc, the Legion of Doom, and Papa Shango will be in action next week on Superstars. Perfect announces Shawn Michaels has left the building, and that's the show.

Favorite Match: Nailz vs Cumberledge

Overall Thoughts: Seven squashes is a little numbing. I'd like to see at least one name vs name match. The show was alright considering though. The constant WBF shilling was pretty hilarious.
