Badd to win the title at 6:51 when Parker pushed the challenger onto Badd after the two collided head-to-head and then held down Badd's foot during the cover; after the bout, Gene Okerlund conducted an interview with Badd regarding the controversial finish; moments later, Okerlund called over referee Randy Anderson in which Anderson said the decision stood; Okerlund then urged the fans to call the WCW Hotline and demand a rematch between Badd and Anderson

WCW US Championship Tournament Opening Round: Ric Flair (w/ WCW TV Champion Arn Anderson) pinned the Patriot (w/ Marcus Alexander Bagwell) with the figure-4 at 10:15 after Anderson goaded Bagwell into distracting the referee and then dropped the Patriot with the DDT behind the referee's back (Flair's in-ring return after a 6-month absence)

Sting, Alex Wright, & the Renegade (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated Ric Flair, WCW TV Champion Arn Anderson, & Steve Austin via disqualification at 9:53 when Anderson threw Renegade over the top; after the bout, Renegade skinned the cat and helped clear Flair, Anderson, & Austin from the ring

Brian Pillman pinned Marcus Alexander Bagwell at 4:28 when Pillman landed on top as both men attempted crossbody blocks; after the match, Pillman helped Bagwell to his feet
WCW World Champion Hulk Hogan (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated Kamala (w/ Kevin Sullivan) via disqualification in a non-title match at 4:36 when Zodiac & the Shark interfered; after the bout, WCW US Champion Sting and Randy Savage made the save; Michael Buffer provided the ring introductions; Hogan wore white tribal face paint for the match; after the match, Okerlund interviewed Hogan, Sting, & Savage, who officially declared war on the Dungeon of Doom

Rob Parker on the floor and knocked down Parker; Parker & Sherri appeared ringside mid-way through the bout; due to pre-match stipulations, the American Males earned a match the following night against the Blue Bloods
