1/19/85 - featured an opening segment in which David Crockett conducted an interview with NWA Tag Team Champion Dusty Rhodes in which Rhodes showed his $10,000 in silver dollars, with Rhodes then challenging NWA TV Champion Tully Blanchard; included Tony Schiavone & Crockett on commentary; featured Crockett conducting an interview with Buzz Tyler, with the two then reviewing footage of Black Bart ripping up a sweatshirt that belonged to Tyler; Tyler then said he represented the fans there in South Carolina and he would come after Bart for what he did; included a vignette showing Mid-Atlantic TV Champion Tully Blanchard arriving to an airport in a limo; moments later, a private jet landed and a woman stepped out and joined Blanchard in the limo; the two kissed in the limo as it drove off; Motley Crue's "Looks that Kill" played throughout the segment (Baby Doll's debut); featured Crockett conducting an interview with Ivan & Nikita Koloff, with Nikita holding a giant trophy, regarding the addition of Krusher Kruschev to their family; during the segment, footage was shown of Ricky Steamboat coming through the crowd to confront Ivan only to be attacked from behind by Nikita and suffer the Russian Sickle; included Crockett conducting an interview with NWA US Champion Wahoo McDaniel regarding his wanting a match with NWA World Champion Ric Flair, during which Wahoo noted National Heavyweight Champion Ron Garvin, Ole Anderson, Tyler, and "TA Magnum" were also wanting a shot with Flair but TA didn't deserve one; Wahoo then said he was going to be the longest reigning US champion; featured Crockett conducting an interview with Dillon & Funk in which Dillon said he didn't like Funk but knew he was the best, with Funk then saying he didn't wrestle for Dillon or Jim Crockett Promotions but for himself; Funk then said he wanted his money for taking out Slater and that he would go after "that steroid freak" Steamboat and "egg sucking dog" Rhodes:
NWA Tag Team Champion Manny Fernandez pinned Doug Vines with the flying forearm and a kneedrop off the top at 2:36
Inferno #1 defeated Dick Slater via disqualification at 3:59 when Slater threw his opponent over the top rope after noticing Terry Funk was ringside; during the bout, Funk & JJ Dillon joined the commentary team to discuss the bounty put on Slater; after the match, Slater fought off an interfering Ron Bass & Black Bart but was eventually triple teamed by Funk, Bass, & Bart and sustained a spike piledriver; moments later, several enhancement wrestlers ran out to try to make the save but were knocked to the floor; Funk then began choking Slater with his belt until Magnum TA, Buzz Tyler, NWA Tag Team Champions Dusty Rhodes & Manny Fernandez cleared the ring; Slater was helped out of the ring by several wrestlers while Funk screamed at him from the opposite side of the ring (Funk's surprise debut)
Assassin #1 & Steve Casey defeated Jeff Sword & Ben Alexander at 3:29 when Casey scored the pin following the airplane spin; during the bout, David Crockett said an event by the name of Lord of the Rings would take place later that year to celebrate 50 years of Jim Crockett Promotions; it was also noted Magnum TA had earned $50,000 by winning a battle royal in Greensboro earlier in the month to kick off the year of celebration
Superstar Billy Graham (w/ Paul Jones & the Barbarian) defeated Sharship Eagle in a full nelson challenge; stipulations stated Eagle had 30 seconds to break Graham's full nelson and would win $1,000 if he did
Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions - Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Ron Bass & Black Bart (w/ JJ Dillon) defeated NWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion Denny Brown & Tommy Lane at 1:27 when Bart pinned Lane with a running powerslam
NWA TV Champion Tully Blanchard (w/ Baby Doll) pinned Mike Davis with the slingshot suplex at 5:02; during the bout, Don Kernodle briefly joined the commentary team and spoke about his feud with Ivan & Nikita Koloff and said he would have a big surprise; after the bout, Crockett conducted an interview with Blanchard, alongside Baby Doll, in which Blanchard referenced the comments made by NWA Tag Team Champion Dusty Rhodes earlier in the show, noting he beat Ricky Steamboat under those same stipulations; moments later, Blanchard introduced Baby Doll, who said Tully had to go out to Texas to find a real woman because there weren't any nearby (Baby Doll's debut at ringside)
